What are cookies?

What we use
buguix.com does not set any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. We use:
- Local storage (strictly necessary) — to remember your selected language (English/Portuguese) and whether you've dismissed the notice on our homepage. This information stays on your device, is never sent to us or any third party, and is not used to track you.
Third-party requests
This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Loading these fonts causes your browser to make a direct request to Google's servers, which may process your IP address as part of standard web request handling. Google does not set cookies for this purpose in this integration. See our Privacy Policy for more on this data flow.
Managing local storage
Because we only use strictly necessary local storage (Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, as transposed by Portuguese Law No. 41/2004), no consent banner offering "accept/reject" choices is legally required. If you'd prefer not to store this preference, you can clear your browser's site data at any time in your browser settings, or block local storage entirely — the site will still work, defaulting to English on each visit.
Future changes
If we ever introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and request your consent beforehand, in line with applicable law.
